Product Engineer - AuthKit
About the Role
The AuthKit team builds WorkOS's customizable authentication UI, powered by Radix (from WorkOS's acquisition of Modulz). AuthKit enables B2B developers to solve identity and authentication with a single integration command (npx workos@latest). You will build the best possible developer and end-user experiences across social auth, passwordless (Magic Auth), MFA, SSO, and passkeys so customers can onboard seamlessly and kick-start their enterprise journey.
What You'll Do
- Design and engineer delightful developer and end-user experiences for authentication flows
- Build UI components and APIs that handle social login, passwordless auth, MFA, and SSO
- Develop framework-specific integrations and the AuthKit CLI/AI installer
- Improve the AuthKit hosted experience (authkit.com) and embeddable components
- Collaborate with a small, high-agency team to ship rapidly
- Work closely with the Developer Experience team to ensure best-in-class DX
What We Look For
- 5+ years of industry software development experience
- Strong frontend engineering skills with TypeScript and React
- Experience with component libraries or design systems (Radix experience is a plus)
- Deep understanding of authentication flows (OAuth, SAML, OIDC, passkeys)
- Strong product sensibility and design intuition for developer-facing UIs
- Experience with Postgres and Node.js
- Experience in B2B SaaS or developer tools is a plus
